click here. Socials The Caliente HOG Chapter meets every month to discuss upcoming events and activities for all HOG member to participate in. Check this page frequently for more information on meeting times and locations as well as all other events. Most of our meetings are conducted at Caliente Harley-Davidson which is our sponsoring dealership. Click on the map below for dealership address and location. Monthly meeting (also known as Chapter Socials) can vary by locations and/or times, so check our Events Calendar for the location and time of our next meeting/chapter social. Caliente H.O.G. Events: CALIENTE H.O.G. RIDE CALENDAR: Caliente H.O.G. sponsored rides are a Closed Event For all Rides, you are required to be there 15 minutes prior to KSU (Kick Stands Up) so that you can get signed in and attend the pre-ride briefing.YOUR ATTENTION PLEASE --We would like to know who would be interested in doing a trip to Big Ben this year. I know that we had one person asking if there was going to be a trip there this year. We had a trip there last year and we normally do it every other year. We need to know by Friday June 13, 2025. This way we can see about getting any road captains to do the rides and see about hotel rooms. Headed to A Place to Shoot with lunch to follow at Farm to Familia in Poteet. June 28th (Saturday) --KSU 9:00 a.m. LRC Bobbi, SRC TBD. Ride to Red Bud Cafe, Blanco TX. July 4th (Friday) --KSU TBD, LRC Warren, SRC Lou. Ride to Comfort, TX for the Annual 4th of July Celebration Parade Ride. KSU TBD as we are waiting on information from the Parade Organizers. Intent is to meet up at Caliente or perhaps someplace closer to I-10. Bring 4th of July themed decorations with you to put on your bike once we hit Comfort. Tape, zip ties, bungee cord, etc., to attach your decorations. If you have a "backseater", have them bring hard candy to throw....oops, I mean toss out to the kids along the parade route. We normally hit a late lunch on our return towards San Antonio. July 12th (Saturday) --9:00 Road Captains Meeting --10:30 Meeting --Ride to Comfort Cafe on Bandera Rd LRC Bobbi, SRC TBD. KSU will be determined at the Chapter Social but expect it to be in the 1130-1200 timeframe. July 13th (Sunday) --Ride - KSU 9:00. LRC Kevin, SRC Warren. Lunch at Whizzerville Hall in McMahan, TX. Route there will be approx. 111 miles of straight(ish) roadways. On the return, we'll swing by the Caldwell County Courthouse for MGTOT Photo Op Stop 49, then on to Wimberly to check out Old Baldy Park, MGTOT Photo Op Stop 5. The return trip will be approx. 115 miles. July 26th (Saturday) --Ride - KSU 8:00 a.m., LRC TBD, SRC Bobbi. Hill Country Motorheads Motorcycle Museum in Burnet TX. Admission Fee: $8.00. $6.00 for Seniors (65+), Military, Vets, 1st Responders, Teachers...bring cash. Lunch TBD. August 2nd (Saturday) Chapter Social and Ride afterwards. KSU somewhere between 1130-1200. LRC Bobbi, SRC Lou Going to eat ice cream at a shop off Tezel. Remember, small bites, small calories. August 10th (Sunday) Ride KSU TBD, LRC Warren, SRC Ken. Destination TBD. August 23rd (Saturday) Ride - KSU 8:00. LRC Kevin, SRC Warren. Lunch at Willow Creek Cafe & Club in Mason, TX. Route will take us through Bandera, gas stop in Kerrville, then north to Mason, for approx. 132 miles. On the return, we'll swing by the Seaquist Home for MGTOT Photo Op Stop 13, then a straight shot back to the dealership with a gas stop in Comfort. September 20th (Saturday) Humor for Heroes Event at St. Matthews Catholic Church on Wurzbach Road. We will help with set up, serve lunch, drinks, etc. More details to come. Future Dates October 11-13, 2025. We are in preliminary planning to go to Big Bend again this year (Columbus Day Holiday weekend). Everything is still set in "jello". More to follow.November 6-9, 2025. If you are thinking...even considering going to the Lonestar Rally Galveston Island, I highly suggest you get reservations NOW. Even if you are not sure, get the reservations and then you can cancel when your schedule solidifies. After the fiasco last year jointly screwed up by the Rally organizers and the city planners, this year's rally looks to be back on track. This is a free rally with a slew of vendors that will cater to anything your motorcycle heart desires. In recent years, we have been staying at the Hampton Inn and Suites 2320 Gulf Freeway S. League City 281.614.5437 (has a continental breakfast) or next door at the Candlewood Suites 2350 Gulf Freeway S. League City 281.534.9848 (no breakfast). Tony is considering coming down from our 23rd state to lead the ride and F2 will probably sweep. |
